Connecticut's ASC Tax Repeal

COS President, Tarik Kardestuncer, MD, (center) attended a CT ASC reception in June to extend the Society's thanks to Senator John Fonfara (left) and Senator Martin Looney (right) for their leadership and legislative support to repeal Connecticut's onerous state tax on Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

The REPEAL of the State's Surgery Center Tax on Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) goes into effect July 1, 2022, and puts an end to 7 years of taxation of ASCs.
