As a membership benefit, the CT Orthopaedic Society’s General Legal Counsel, Garfunkel Wild, created an informative alert regarding the Good Faith Estimate (GFE) requirement of the federal, No Surprise Bill law. Healthcare facilities in Connecticut have begun to implement GFE procedures at their institutions and members should familiarize themselves with the policy at their hospital(s).

The Connecticut Orthopaedic Society represents all orthopaedic surgeons in our State. It is important for every surgeon to join with your colleagues to ensure the Society speaks with a strong voice when advancing state and federal legislative issues, responding to regulatory matters and addressing insurer’s procedures and policies.
