COS Inducts Jim Paolino, Esq, as Honorary Member

James Paolino, Esq., was awarded honorary membership by the Connecticut Orthopaedic Society at the Society’s Annual Meeting on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Farmington Marriott.

Honorary membership is conferred by the Board of Directors to an individual who serves or contributes to the advancement of orthopaedic surgeons in Connecticut. Mr. Paolino was recognized for his years of service to the orthopaedic community, advocating on behalf of physicians and patients on a wide variety of legislative and regulatory matters.

He is a Principal with Halloran & Sage Government Affairs in Hartford, CT. Mr. Paolino received his undergraduate degree from UConn and received his law degree from Quinnipiac Law School.

The award was presented by Society President, F. Scott Gray, M.D., who noted that there has not been legislative or regulatory issue important to orthopedic surgeons that Mr. Paolino has not assisted the Society and its members with through educating and informing legislators and government administrators.
